Etsy Texas Crafters (ETC), the street team known for the First Monday™ Sales event, is now celebrating Third Monday by giving back to our community with ETC Cares – You Shop, We Give! On the third Monday of each month, participating team members will donate a percentage of their sales for that day to a charity selected by the team.


For June, ETC members have chosen to donate to Austism Society of America, specifcally, the Austin, TX chapter. Please help support this worthy cause by shopping the participating shops, or by donating directly to this very worthy organization!

ETC Cares will begin at 12:01am on June 16th and end at 12:00 midnight on that same day (Central time, which would be 1:01am Monday to 1:00am Tuesday, Etsy time).

Supporting the ASPCA

Our ETC Cares recipient this month is the ASPCA -- The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. And while ETC Cares is still 2 weeks away, here is something each of us can do to show our support for the ASPCA, as well as for animals...

For January, ETC members will donate to Homes for our Troops. This organization is building and remodeling homes for severely wounded veterans. Proceeds from our sales will be donated to assist in the modifications of the home of US Army Specialist Latseen Benson, who lost his legs to a roadside bomb in his second tour of duty in Iraq.

Our Third Monday ETC Cares promotion for December will begin at 12:01am December 17 and end at 12:00 midnight the same day (central time -- that's 1:01am Monday to 1:00am Tuesday, Etsy time!) – though some sellers have chosen to extend their promotion, so be sure to check each shop’s description for their specific dates.
